Consultant/Advisor- Civil Projects & Infrastructure


A leading E&P company is seeking to engage an experienced Civil Engineering professional as a Consultant to oversee and manage civil works related to the design, construction, and upgradation of infrastructure across company installations


The role requires a results-driven individual capable of ensuring quality execution, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of projects in line with organizational standards and industry best practices.


Job Summary:


Highly experienced Civil Engineer with 20 years of proven expertise in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects, including residential/commercial/office buildings & and industrial projects. Skilled in managing full project lifecycles from concept to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage construction projects for Civil works for rig installation, residential buildings, offices, and related infrastructure etc.
  • Plan, design, and review structural and civil/mechanical/electrical related works in compliance with standards and regulations
  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring quality control and adherence to drawings
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets
  • Monitor project progress and ensure completion within deadlines and budget
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
  • Manage subcontractors and workforce on-site
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and progress updates for management
  • Oversee maintenance and post-construction activities when required
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
  • Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and external authorities for project approvals, permits, right-of-way matters, and resolution of site-related issues.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • 20 years of experience in residential/commercial/office buildings & infrastructure and industrial projects etc.
  • Valid PEC Registration
  • Preferred Valid PMP certification
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations

Key Skills:


  • Project management & leadership
  • Strong technical and structural analysis skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera/MS Project, and other engineering software
  • Budgeting and cost control
  • Excellent communication and team coordination
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Work Environment:


  • Combination of office-based planning and on-site supervision
  • Frequent site visits and coordination meetings
