This role requires both technical proficiency and a strong understanding of woodworking practices to translate design concepts into precise, manufacturable outputs.
Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for woodworking machinery.
Interpret design specifications and create detailed shop drawings for production.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to maintain high-quality standards.
Maintain documentation of CNC programs, drawings, and process workflows.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in woodworking operations.
🎓 QualificationsEducation & Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Wood Technology, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in CNC programming, specifically for woodworking applications.
Experience in creating shop drawings using CAD software (e.
g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Technical Skills Proficiency in CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code).
Strong knowledge of woodworking processes, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Skilled in CAD/CAM software for design and manufacturing.
