AWS Cloud Engineer

You will be part of a talented team of engineers in our engineering team that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. The cloud engineer will be responsible for supporting a large-scale deployment and all underlying systems related to supporting cloud computing workloads and IT project deployment.

• In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language 
  
• Understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices  
  
• Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS  
  
• Ability to use the AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs to write applications  
  
• Ability to identify key features of AWS services  
  
• Understanding of the AWS shared responsibility model 
  
• Understanding of application lifecycle management
  
• Ability to use a CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications on AWS
  

Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in AWS services like IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, CI/CD
  
• 4+ years of experience in implementing AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  
• 4+ years of experience in implementing Observability using tools like AWS CloudWatch, PagerDuty and ELK
  
• 2+ years of experience in IoT, AWS IoT Core, MQTT, Z-Wave and smart devices
  
• 2+ years of experience in cloud cost and performance optimization
  
• 2+ years of experience in programming languages like Go, C#, Python or JavaScript
  
• 2+ years of experience containers, docker, Kubernetes and ECS
  

Certifications:   

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
  
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate
