Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Associate in the Department of Educational Development. 


Job Role / Responsibilities:
You are required to:
  • organize and maintain updated records of all retreats, workshops and educational activities conducted by the department
  • coordinate with standardized patients for timely availability and faculty for preparing lists according to Modules/OSCE requirements, recruit and register new patients
  • prepare memos and ROPs for arranging remuneration, oversee and arrange for patients training and keep records
  • manage administration of Introductory Short Course (ISC) which includes managing timelines, announcements and registration of participants etc.
  • respond the queries of participants regarding their admissions, manage documents/ presentations used in ISC, compile evaluation forms and results
  • assist in preparation of teaching materials for ISC, Mega Retreat and any other academic courses or workshops
  • provide administrative support to DED faculty members for registration of conferences, accommodation, travel  and transport arrangements
  • ensure effective logistical arrangements for departmental meetings and prepare minutes of meetings, as required
  • maintain attendance and leave record of faculty and staff as a Time Administrator for department
  • prepare Departmental Orientation folders, announcement flyers and web profiles for new faculty and ensure regular faculty profile updates
  • assist in preparing credentialing dossiers and submitting approved dossiers of faculty when required
  • approve purchase requests on People soft and maintain record of requisitions and delivery
  • assist department manager in preparing goals and budget and maintaining budget related to Purchase requisitions
  • manage Library of Images as a Learning Resource of University.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have:
  • a minimum of Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree will be preferred.
  • a minimum of three years’ of relevant experience
  • proficiency in the use of computer software packages, including: MS Office, SPSS etc.
  • excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • ability to be a team player and when required work independently to meet the goals/deadlines
  • excellent verbal and written English language skills, as required for the job role.
