AIX Back-end developer

Your role and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintainhigh-performance backend systems and services.
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders tounderstand requirements and implement new features and enhancements.
• Collaborate withcross-functional, geographically distributed teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Participate indesign discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Strong proficiency inC programming, with hands-on experience inscripting and Python.
• Solid understanding ofAlgorithms and Data Structures.
• Strong knowledge ofUnix/Linux internals, including hands-on experience withmultithreading and synchronization mechanisms.
• Practical, hands-on experience developing onUnix/Linux operating systems.
• Proven ability indebugging and troubleshooting complex backend and system-level issues, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellentinterpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Open Source Software Knowledge: Exposure to designing, developing, and delivering open source software, with an understanding of community best practices and the ability to drive these practices in IBM processes. * Advanced Database Security: Experience working with industry standards and best practices for database security, including analyzing and defining database and information security requirements. * Concurrency Programming Skills: Exposure to developing software solutions using multi-threading and concurrency concepts, with a focus on delivering robust and efficient systems.
