Job description

Experience: 4-8 years


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings, MBD using CATIA
  • Perform aerostructure design for components such as fuselage, primary & Secondary support structures, brackets, sheet metal parts, and assemblies
  • Create and modify engineering drawings, MBD as per standards
  • Work with PLM tools like Enovia/Team Center for data management and release process
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and aerospace standards (GD&T, tolerances)
  • Support design changes (ECR/ECO/ERD processes)
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
  • Maintain proper documentation and revision control

Required Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of aerostructure design concepts
  • Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Hands-on experience with CATIA V5
  • Experience with PLM tools such as Enovia / Teamcenter
  • Good understanding of sheet metal, machining, and assembly design
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
  • 4–8 years of experience in aerospace or engineering design domain

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in aerospace programs (Airbus/Boeing)
  • Basic knowledge of stress analysis and manufacturing processes
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
