Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE)
Develop and maintain graphs, reusable components, and parallel processing logic
Work with large-scale data processing in batch and real-time environments
Integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms
Perform performance tuning and optimization of Ab Initio jobs
Handle data validation, data quality checks, and error handling mechanisms
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
Write complex SQL queries and procedures for data manipulation
Maintain technical documentation and follow best development practices
Support production deployments and troubleshoot issues
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio (GDE, CoOperating System, EME)
Experience in ETL development and data warehousing concepts
Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or similar)
Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting
Understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake)
Experience with performance tuning and job optimization
Familiarity with file formats (CSV, XML, JSON, etc.)
Experience working with large datasets and parallel processing
