About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Xero and QuickBooks, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance Record financial transactions and ensure accuracy in accounting systems (Xero & QuickBooks) Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and follow-ups Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Reconcile bank and credit card statements Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking Support the preparation of tax filings and audits Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records Collaborate with accountants and management to provide insights on financial performance Requirements: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role Strong proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks (online and desktop versions) Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other bookkeeping tools Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses Familiarity with additional tools like Hubdoc, Dext, or Gusto is a plus
