Job description

The Sales Manager at Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives. This role focuses on maximizing hotel occupancy, meetings and events bookings, and overall profitability while maintaining high service standards aligned with the brand.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:


  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across corporate, leisure, and MICE segments.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities locally and internationally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client presentations to promote hotel facilities and services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and packages.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of guest experiences.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience in 5 star hotels.
  • Strong knowledge of the local and regional market, including corporate and MICE segments.
  • Strong backgroundof MICE is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
