BESS Construction Project Manager

I’m supporting a leading renewable energy developer & IPP in Romania in the search for a BESS Construction Project Manager - a role focused heavily on hybrid integration, grid stability & compliance, and EPC execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Site Oversight – On‑site coordination of civil & electrical works (foundations, cabling, substation upgrades). Minimum 3× per week on site, and daily presence during commissioning.
• EPC Management – Driving the project from RTB to COD, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality compliance.
• Procurement Support – Working closely with engineering and suppliers on equipment selection and delivery.
• Commissioning – Overseeing testing, energization, and integration with SCADA/automation systems.
Ideal Background:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong HV experience
• Familiarity with SCADA & automation
• Understanding of thermal management (HVAC or liquid cooling systems)
• Experience with hybrid PV+BESS projects is a strong advantage
