Sr. Technical Safety Engineer
 
Contract period: ASAP - 30.10.2026
Location: Stavanger

Main tasks:
  • Support relevant company functions in areas of technical safety and barrier management
  • Conduct technical safety evaluations related to design, deviations, changes, and modifications for operated assets and projects (brownfield/modification projects)
  • Review, follow up, and develop technical safety/Barrier Management related documentation, such as philosophies, design basis, safety strategies, performance standards, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience within technical safety
  • Strong knowledge in technical safety/barrier management (Experience with PSA regulations and relevant standards, e.g., Norsok S-001, ISO 13702, IEC 61508/61511)
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to drive change and improvement
  • Capable of working independently and contributing to decision-making processes
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
