Simulation Engineer - Topside & Network 
 
Contract period: 01.05.2026 - 31.12.2027
Location: Stavanger, Oslo or Trondheim

Main tasks:
  • Perform detailed UniSim simulations of EG and IA topside process systems.
  • Conduct capacity evaluations, constraint analyses, and sensitivities.
  • Assess major facility and asset configuration changes.
  • Establish and maintain a standalone UniSim simulation model derived from the network model.
  • Improve model usability and robustness for multidisciplinary use.
  • Coordinate simulation runs in the network model.
  • Ensure alignment between network model and UniSim models.
  • Support interpretation of GAP results.
  • Provide simulation support to Operations for troubleshooting and optimisation.
  • Run ad-hoc simulation cases for operational needs.
  • Work with project engineers, production engineers, subsurface, and operations teams.
  • Communicate results and prepare technical summaries.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with Honeywell UniSim Design.
  • Strong understanding of topside processing systems.
  • Good working knowledge of the network model and GAP.
  • Experience in capacity and constraint evaluations.
  • Experience from NCS within engineering and/or operations.
  • Background in process engineering, production engineering, or flow assurance.
  • Experience with field development studies.
  • Strong analytic mindset.
  • Proactive and self-driven.
  • Good communicator.
  • Enjoys multidisciplinary collaboration.
