Contract period: 18/05/2026 - 30/12/2026
Location: Stavanger
Main tasks- Lead and ensure safe and cost-effective planning of subsea well intervention projects, with special focus on RLWI jobs.
- Ensure the jobs are delivered in accordance with internal and external requirements.
- Follow up planned jobs in the operational phase as Well Intervention Engineer in collaboration with the D&W Operations Manager, the RLWI vessel team and vendors.
- Produce quality RLWI intervention programs and plans consistent with company's HSSE policy and internal/external regulatory requirements.

- Lead risk assessment sessions (HAZID, HAZOP, well control) and incorporate mitigation action plans, with attention to subsea-specific risks (well access, barrier envelope, weather / station-keeping).
- Ensure proper experience transfer within the project, and make sure that relevant experience from similar RLWI campaigns and subsea wells is known in the project.
- Maintain RLWI project budgets and expenditure tracking, including vessel day-rate and spread costs.
- Monitor, track and analyse performance during the project — NPT, barrier integrity, vessel efficiency, campaign sequencing.
- Provide onshore planning assurance and execution readiness by driving reviews and decision support, managing key interfaces (operations, vessel, partners, vendors) and ensuring aligned information flow.
- Deliver intervention/downhole technical support to RLWI campaign execution (procedures, tool strings, contingencies, pumping and chemicals), and align with the subsea engineer on subsea access and equipment interfaces (RLWI stack/subsea lubricator, tree interface, ROV scope) as required.
- Identify and handle dispensations and non-conformances if/when necessary.
- Actively use vendors, digitalization, Lean and flexible business models as tools to improve RLWI planning and execution.
