Security Analyst or Engineer

Contract for up to 5 months


This company is a major player in the energy industry and renewables sector.  They are seeking a Security Analyst to work within their specialised team to support incident management and response, carrying out threat research and managing vulnerabilities.

What You’ll do:
  • You will be responsible for responding to security events generated across security platforms and investigating and analysing potential security incidents and breaches. 
  • This will include carrying out ongoing assessment and the review of cyber threat intelligence sources and information.
  • You will be responsible for tracking and evaluating of current security measures
  • You will assist in determining potential security weaknesses and solutions
  • Support compliance audits, information requests and relevant assessments
  • Assist in the development of new security systems

You will have the ability to change and adapt to a rapidly changing environment and to be always looking and challenging around continuous improvement.


What You’ll Bring:

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in computer science technology or similar as well as relevant working experience.

You will have excellent skills in data and information analysis and will be experienced at developing and maintaining systems, models and dashboards and providing insights and interpretations based on the data.
