Job description

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support complex FPSO and EPC offshore projects within our clients its Rotterdam engineering team.
This is a hands-on technical engineering role, not a lead or management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering process engineering scope across detailed design and execution phases of major offshore energy projects.
Key Requirements 
  • 12–13+ years’ experience in Process Engineering within Oil & Gas
  • Strong, proven FPSO project experience is essential
  • Solid EPC project execution experience required
  • Must be able to start within 1 month
  • Maximum 1 month notice period only
  • Strong hands-on engineering delivery background
  • Not a senior/lead management role
Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver process engineering design in line with project specifications and international standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, and industry codes
  • Produce and review engineering deliverables across concept, detailed design, and execution phases
  • Manage technical interfaces across disciplines, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Support package engineering activities including design, procurement, and fabrication
  • Apply lessons learned and manage technical changes across project scope
  • Deliver work within agreed schedule, budget, and quality requirements
  • Provide limited technical support to junior engineers when required
Education & Experience
  • Engineering Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline (Process / Chemical Engineering preferred)
  • Extensive experience in FPSO / offshore process systems
  • Strong EPC detailed design and execution background
  • Experience using process engineering tools and systems engineering approaches
  • Strong understanding of hazard management and offshore safety requirements
