About the roleWe are looking for a
Senior Piping Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and engineering safe, reliable, and cost-effective piping material solutions that support project delivery and long-term business objectives.
You will work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and help ensure that piping material deliverables are completed on time, within budget, to the right quality standards, and in line with all safety, technical, and regulatory requirements. You will also play an important role in coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
About the assignmentThis role sits within a complex offshore engineering environment focused on deepwater ocean infrastructure and floating production solutions. Projects cover the full asset lifecycle, from design and construction to installation and operation. Within this environment, the Senior Piping Material Engineer will support the execution of piping material engineering activities on offshore projects, including FPSO-related work. The role requires close coordination across engineering disciplines and with external stakeholders such as vendors, subcontractors, and third parties.
Main responsibilities- Deliver piping material engineering activities in line with project scope, specifications, and applicable codes and standards
- Select appropriate methods, materials, and procedures to ensure safe, reliable, and optimized design solutions
- Plan and complete engineering deliverables within the agreed timeframe and budget, while ensuring system interfaces are properly managed
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties during design, procurement, and manufacturing phases
- Support package engineering activities where technical responsibility for design, procurement, and manufacture is required
- Support and guide engineers on the assigned scope of work and act as Discipline Lead where required
Who are we looking for?- Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Significant EPC experience is required
- Strong experience in piping materials engineering
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Good coordination, planning, and interface management skills
- Offshore or vessel experience is nice to have
