Job description

As a Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in managing purchasing activities that directly impact operational success and profitability.
This is an opportunity to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate contracts, and work cross-functionally to secure high-quality products and services at competitive prices within major energy projects.

Immediate starts working at our clients offices in Rotterdam with upto 3 days a week and 2 days remote with occasional site visits.
You’ll be joining a high-performing team delivering complex brownfield and greenfield EPC projects, with long-term scope and strong pipeline visibility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead procurement activities for mechanical packages across major projects
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing, from RFQ through to contract award
  • Negotiate commercial terms and supplier agreements
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Collaborate with engineering, project, and supply chain teams
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery standards
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in procurement and purchasing processes
  • Proven experience with mechanical packages
  • Oil & Gas industry experience
  • EPC project experience
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and market analysis capability
  • Experience using procurement systems / ERP tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years procurement experience, including senior-level responsibility
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CPSM, CPP) are advantageous
