Reporting to the Horse Racing Sites Manager, your main mission will be to ensure a safe and high-quality environment for horse training by ensuring the optimal maintenance of equestrian surfaces, the irrigation system, and associated equipment, as well as by supervising and maintaining green spaces.
As such, your main activities will be:
Track and Irrigation System Maintenance
- Follow and apply the track irrigation and maintenance schedule
- Monitor the condition of the track daily during horse training
- Contribute to the detection and repair of electrical faults on the track
- Participate in the detection and repair of leaks in the irrigation system
Green Space Maintenance
- Ensure the cleaning of the track edge and the maintenance of the rails
- Participate in monitoring the general maintenance of the green spaces around the track
Penetration Measurements
- Regularly carry out penetration measurements of the track to assess its quality
Maintenance of Equestrian Surface Maintenance Equipment
- Ensure the preventive and corrective maintenance of equestrian surface maintenance equipment (tanks and irrigation pumps, tractors, starting stalls, obstacles, electronic displays, walkers, ...)
As a potential candidate:
- Have a Bac+2/3 in electromechanics, civil engineering with proven experience in a similar role
- Master Electrotechnics and Topography;
- Have enhanced skills in Mechanics, Earthworks, Hydraulics, and Electricity
- Have ethical behavior
- Are compliant and rigorous
- Have a team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
