As a SAM expert, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
• Develop and implement strategies for effective software asset management throughout the organization.
• Conduct regular assessments of software license compliance and usage across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to optimize software deployment and usage.
• Proactively manage licenses and entitlements related to software usage from various vendors, including top-tier vendors such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, VMWare, and others.
• Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and rationalization of software assets.
• Analyze software usage data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in software licensing models to inform decision-making.
• Provide guidance and/or training on software asset management best practices.
• Collaborate in relationships with software vendors and in negotiating favorable license agreements for the Group.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to software asset management.
Experience:
• Solid understanding and proven experience with software licensing models, compliance regulations, and audit processes.
• Proven skills in software asset management tools and technologies
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in communication and negotiation
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework and its application to software asset management processes.
• Experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments
Skills:
