The Scrum Master will work in a multi-team SAFe environment, which involves:
- Active participation in SAFe ceremonies: PI Planning, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt
- Close coordination with other Scrum Masters in the train (Rocade, COTI, CONCERTO) to ensure inter-team alignment and synchronization, and to share and spread Agile best practices
- Contribution to the overall vision of the train in coordination with the Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- Ability to manage inter-team dependencies and facilitate their resolution
- Understanding of Program Increments (PI) and their link with team sprints
- An active role in spreading Agile culture at scale within the SAFe train
- As a true conductor for the development team, the Scrum Master will be responsible for:
- Implementation and guarantee of the Scrum method: sprint planning, organization, and facilitation of all Agile ceremonies (daily, sprint planning, review, retrospective)
- Monitoring of continuous improvement areas identified during retrospectives
- Ensuring adherence to the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)
- Organizing 1-to-1 meetings with team members to detect early signs of issues and new areas for improvement
- Tracking progress metrics (burndown/burnup charts) on JIRA
- Monitoring performance indicators at each sprint: velocity, team engagement, and satisfaction
- Proactive analysis of obstacles, roadblocks, and external interferences that may slow down the team
- Ensuring smooth communication within the team and with stakeholders (Product Owner, management, project manager)
- Guaranteeing the consistency and reliability of information within the team
- Supporting the Product Owner in their decision-making (team, product, tools) and knowing how to challenge certain requests if necessary
- Identifying and proposing concrete solutions to problems encountered throughout the project
- Fostering the team's creativity, autonomy, and skill development to improve productivity
- Managing change to embed a truly Agile culture and practices within the team
Required profile :
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Engineering School or equivalent university education
- 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile application environment
- Experience in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) context will be particularly valued
- Proficiency in JIRA / Confluence tools
- Good knowledge of information systems
- Experience in Java technical design or REST API testing is an additional asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team spirit and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to federate, facilitate, and support change
- Benevolent leadership and servant leader posture
- Scrum Master Certification: CSM or PSM
- And/or Agile transformation certification: ICP-ACC or SAFe Scrum Master
