Quarry Manager (M/F)
We are recruiting for a renowned group a Quarry Manager (M/F)
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will ensure the overall management of the quarry (aggregates, sand, stone, etc.) while respecting production, quality, safety, and environmental objectives.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Planning, organizing, and supervising extraction, crushing, and production activities
• Optimizing production yields while controlling operating costs
• Ensuring product compliance with current quality standards
• Managing and leading site teams (operators, machine operators, maintenance)
• Ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) rules
• Managing preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment (crushers, screens, machinery, etc.)
• Monitoring performance indicators and reporting to management
• Managing relationships with local authorities and ensuring regulatory compliance (permits, environment, etc.)
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) to Master's degree (Bac+5) in Civil Engineering, Mining, Geology, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quarry operations or a similar environment
• Good knowledge of material extraction and processing methods
• Mastery of HSE standards and quarry-related regulations
• Skills in team management and operational management
Sense of organization, rigor, and field leadership
