Eaton is currently seeking a Project Industrialization Engineer to join our team in Casablanca, Maroco.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the successful execution of projects related to New Product Introduction (NPI) and project transfers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide clear direction to cross-functional teams, particularly on customer requirements, scope changes, and risk management.
- Ensure the consistent application of standard program management processes, validating their effectiveness in supporting project execution.
- Coordinate project reviews, track performance, and prepare regular program metrics and reports to monitor progress.
- Deliver periodic Project Status Reports, highlighting progress against contractual milestones and identifying risks related to technical, cost, and schedule performance.
- Take ownership of PROLaunch Stage Gate reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement and maturity of the PROLaunch / OpA processes.
- Drive industrialization activities in collaboration with other sites, including Pre-work instructions, Work instructions, Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP.
- Manage project timelines, costs, and quality for customized industrial projects in coordination with the project team.
- Actively participate in concurrent engineering, including design reviews, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and value engineering initiatives.
- Support the preparation of Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) to justify investments in equipment for new technologies, product introduction, or continuous improvement.
- Ensure continuous improvement by updating industrialization guidelines to enhance product quality and process robustness.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) workshops to drive operational excellence.
- Ensure strict adherence to 5S standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Production Systems
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar post.
- Experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or new product introduction (NPI).
- Strong knowledge of production processes, assembly methods, tooling, and manufacturing technologies.
- Proven experience managing industrialization projects from design transfer to serial production.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, Purchasing).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with process validation, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and production ramp-up.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, risks, costs, and resources.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced international environment
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft and project tools (word, excel, Microsoft project, etc…)
- Ability to work in cross-department teams to achieve results
