As a vital component of the Danish-Arab Partnership 4-year Programme (DAPP) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, GGJAP focuses on fostering Youth Employment and Green Jobs in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Tunisia within the MENA region. By supporting local small and medium-sized enterprises, GGJAP aims to catalyze green growth and create opportunities for young women and youth. About the role
Flat6Labs is looking for a Program Officer to join our team on the Green Growth & Jobs Accelerator Project (GGJAP) in Morocco. As a professional, you will be responsible for supporting SMEs in their day-to-day activities as well as supporting the program team in organizing cycle processes, documentation, and events. This role would suit a highly proactive, technology-savvy, and organized individual who is passionate about creating impact.
Also, as a Program Officer, you will be required to oversee the process and the operations of the program, design and implement an effective business strategy to position the program as a high-quality leading ecosystem development program locally and internationally, help build relationships, and establish partnerships with local and international partners.
Main Responsibilities:


Accelerator Implementation:


  • Plan and execute pre-accelerator and accelerator phases with the Program Lead's support.
  • Scout SMEs, experts, mentors, and potential financial institutions.
  • Manage virtual & physical workshops and events.
  • Advise selected SMEs on business development needs.
  • Run needs assessment for selected SMEs.
  • Support SMEs during the program and ensure to respond to all queries or challenges they are facing
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding/offboarding journey for all SMEs.

Marketing & Outreach:


  • Collaborate with the UNDP team to disseminate calls for applications.
  • Utilize social media to share the UNDP team's posts.
  • Disseminate calls for applications within the partner network and previous beneficiaries.
  • Organize informational sessions to present the program.
  • Propose outreach strategy in line with UNDP branding guidelines.


Communication:


  • Attend weekly meetings with the UNDP country office and F6L regional team.
  • Support program communication on social media channels.
  • Ensure timely responses to queries or challenges from entrepreneurs.
  • Record and report startup teams' progress and KPIs accurately.


Sub-Sector Analysis:


  • Conduct comprehensive sector analysis in collaboration with UNDP Morocco.
  • Present analysis to the regional team for review and feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to UNDP guidelines and standards.


Reporting:


  • Prepare and manage the final selection committee following guidelines.
  • Provide necessary data and information requested by the donor.
  • Prepare and finalize the accelerator report for approval by the regional team.
