Job Description

Location : TFZ Tangier Plant 


The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining injection molding processes to ensure high-quality production, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.




Responsibilities
  • Process optimization: Develop and refine molding parameters to improve cycle time, reduce scrap, and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Tooling management: Support new mold introduction, tooling validation, and troubleshooting of mold-related issues.
  • Specification creation: Define and develop specifications for injection molding machines (IMM) and all related equipment ‘automation, IMM’s peripherals…’
  • Production support: Assist operators with machine setup, adjustments, and problem-solving during production runs.
  • Quality assurance: Implement scientific molding principles to meet customer specifications and reduce defects.
  • Continuous improvement: Lead initiatives in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process standardization.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain process sheets, work instructions, and technical reports.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with R&D ‘designers & laboratory tester’, quality, and supply chain teams to support new product launches and ongoing production.
  • Overmolding expertise: Apply knowledge of overmolding processes to ensure proper adhesion, material compatibility, automation and product performance.


Education Requirements
  • Engineer degree: in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, or Plastics Engineering


Experience Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in injection molding processes (automotive, electronics, or packaging industries preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of scientific molding principles and polymer processing.
  • Experience with troubleshooting molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC tools.


Languages
  • Communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
  • Good english level
