GENERAL MISSION

The physiotherapist specialized in high-level sports plays a crucial role in the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries for student athletes. In collaboration with the medical and sports coaching team, they help ensure the physical well-being of student athletes and optimize their performance.

MAIN MISSIONS

• Conduct in-depth physical assessments to determine the specific needs of student athletes;
• Ensure that necessary medical support services are present during training sessions and competitions of students from Lydec Rabat;
• Ensure that injury management effectively meets Lydec Rabat's commitments to students, coaches, and senior management through clinical audits and precise documentation. Ensure that appropriate recovery and injury prevention strategies are adopted after competitions and on recovery days;
• Ensure multidisciplinary communication between staff, students, and sports department managers to ensure the optimal well-being and development of all students;

PROFILE

• Physiotherapist diploma with a specialization in sports;
• Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Proven experience in high-level sports.

KNOW-HOW

• In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and new advancements in physiotherapy.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
• Ability to manage and train a team of intern physiotherapists (up to 1 per sport)
• Provide first aid and CPR if necessary
• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Ability to demonstrate appropriate skills and techniques to be used by athletes.
• Ability to visually monitor athletes.
• Sitting, standing, lifting and carrying (up to 22kg), reaching, squatting, climbing stairs, kneeling, and moving equipment/boxes up to 22 kg.
