RECRUITMENT CONTEXT:




As part of the operational management of its financial, billing, and collection activities, our structure relies on a critical park of 14 applications developed under MS Access and VBA.
They automate key processes with high financial value: indemnity calculation, termination management, collective procedure monitoring, and billing anomaly detection.



MAIN MISSIONS:




•Corrective and Evolutionary Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical or performance incidents on the existing application park. Adapt calculation algorithms according to changes in General Terms and Conditions (GTC) or business rules.
•Performance Optimization: Compact, partition (Splitting Front-End/Back-End), and index databases to ensure smooth and fast queries for growing volumes.
•Data Administration and Integration: Ensure the reliability of import/export flows of flat files, interfaces with upstream systems, and pivot files for exchange.
•User Assistance and Support: Support collection managers, risk analysts, and accountants in the daily use of their dedicated tools.
•Documentation and Mapping: Write technical (data dictionaries, relational schemas, VBA specifics) and functional documentation to formalize the application portfolio.




4. REQUIRED SKILLS (PROFILE SOUGHT):




Technical Skills (Hard Skills):




•Expert mastery of Microsoft Access (recent versions): creation and optimization of complex SQL queries, data modeling (MCD/MLD), advanced forms, and summary reports.
•Advanced VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) programming: complete automation, rigorous error handling, object manipulation (DAO, ADODB), and inter-application communication (Excel, Outlook, Text files).
•Data integration: advanced manipulation of CSV, XML formats and flat files, as well as automated import/export via commercial management systems.



Business Knowledge (a major asset):




Strong understanding of customer accounting, billing, debt collection, and financial risk management issues.



Soft Skills:




•Autonomy and rigor: Ability to work independently on a varied application park containing strict contractual financial calculations.
•Analytical mind: Ability to delve into existing undocumented code, reverse engineer business rules, and propose sustainable solutions.
•Pedagogy and service orientation: Very good communication with end-users (non-technical profiles) to effectively capture their needs.




Required profile :
  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science, information systems, or software development.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Access and VBA.
  • Significant experience with billing, customer accounting, or collection applications.
  • High level of autonomy in application maintenance (TMA) and user support activities.
  • Ability to take over, analyze, maintain, and evolve existing applications, sometimes old or poorly documented, while ensuring their sustainability.
  • Dual technical and functional expertise, with a good understanding of financial, billing, and debt management challenges.
