Materials Quality Technician – Quarry (M/F)
We are recruiting for a renowned group on the market a Materials Quality Technician – Quarry (M/F)
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will ensure the control and monitoring of the quality of the materials produced (aggregates, sand, gravel, etc.).
As such, your responsibilities include:
• Carrying out material sampling (face, conveyors, stockpiles)
• Performing control tests in the laboratory or on site (granulometry, sand equivalent, cleanliness, Los Angeles, etc.)
• Verifying product compliance with current standards and customer requirements
• Ensuring the traceability of samples and test results
• Writing control reports and feeding quality monitoring tables
• Identifying non-conformities and alerting production
• Proposing corrective actions in collaboration with operations (crushing, screening adjustments, etc.)
• Participating in the continuous improvement of quality processes
• Ensuring compliance with HSE procedures on site
Required Qualifications
• Bac+2 / Bac+3 in Civil Engineering, Geology, Materials, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a laboratory or quarry
• Good knowledge of construction materials (aggregates) and associated tests
• Mastery of technical standards (NM, EN, or equivalent)
• Rigor, autonomy, and analytical skills
• Field-oriented mindset and ability to work in an industrial environment
