Mission/Project Context:



The objective of the mission is to primarily carry out the following activities:




1. Setting up, up to production, the application versions and adapted tools for the Linux base.
2. Maintaining the operational status of existing platforms and deployment tools.



DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES AND REQUIRED SKILLS:



The expected services are as follows:



1. Recurring tasks (RUN), participate in the 'recurring tasks' rotations within the project:



• Resolve, update the status, or escalate tickets from the queue within the domain.
• Process or escalate customer requests expressed by email or on the team's Mattermost to the Product Owner or manager.
• Resolve/escalate issues reported by the monitoring team.
• Ensure communication between domain stakeholders and monitoring.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of RUN.



2. Ensure operational maintenance (RUN).



Maintaining service platforms includes in particular:
• Incident management (level 2 and 3)
• Event management
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of operability and service quality.
• Maintaining documentation.
• Carrying out planned changes in production.



3. Performing OFF-HOURS interventions (RUN).



Service continuity requirements regularly necessitate carrying out planned work outside of normal working hours (OFF-HOURS interventions).



The mission includes performing OFF-HOURS interventions, which involves:
• Identifying the impacts and risks of the operation.
• Writing operational procedures for preparation, execution, and rollback.
• Communication related to the operation.



4. Conduct technical studies (THINK).



The hosting activity is constantly evolving, so the mission includes a study component which will consist of carrying out or contributing to technical studies aligned with the strategy.




ESSENTIAL SKILLS:



  • System administration - possess very good knowledge of Linux administration (vmware, linux, NSX-v/NSX-t).
  • Know and master the management and administration of an Open LDAP solution.
  • Knowledge of data products (mysql/mariadb cluster, redis, etc.).
  • Be comfortable understanding & debugging bash scripts.
  • Release Management: Plan and coordinate software releases.
  • Security: Integrate Security By Design practices into the development cycle.
  • Operational mastery of deployment/integration and Operations tooling: gitlab, gitops (flux and co), prometheus/grafana/loki.
  • Be comfortable with Git & branch management.


DESIRABLE SKILLS:



  • GO language and Bash Linux.
  • Agility: Scrum / Kanban.
  • Knowledge of Cloud concepts and architecture (Clusters, Zones, Flux, Services, Brokers).
  • Have knowledge of the Python language.


Required profile :

We are looking for a passionate Ops engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing our infrastructures as well as an Open LDAP solution. You will have the opportunity to evolve in the longer term on cloud infrastructure management.



With a Master's degree (engineering school or equivalent university degree), you have at least 5 years of significant experience in a similar role.
