We are looking for a Legal Officer profile for our entity in Rabat
Main mission: Ensure legal and contractual control of distributors and manage compliance audits, and provide legal assistance to the various entities concerned.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous legal and regulatory watch regarding delegated management and analyze the impacts of changes on contracts.
- Check the legal compliance of addendums, unilateral decisions, and contractual clauses with regard to the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
- Verify the distributors' compliance with the legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations applicable to the delegated service.
- Verify compliance with easement and expropriation procedures, and the conformity of land files established by the distributors.
- Check the compliance, validity, and adequacy of insurance and guarantees taken out by the distributors.
- Follow up on claims and third-party claims and ensure the proper application of liability guarantees."
- Process litigation files related to delegated management contracts and monitor disputes in coordination with the parties concerned.
- Draft formal notices, legal opinions, analysis notes, and compliance reports.
- Provide legal support and expertise to the SPCR entities on issues of interpretation and application of law.
- Participate in the preparation and coordination of legal files with distributors and legal advisors of the Delegating Authority.
- Monitor the annual and multi-year audit plan and keep an updated consolidated status of programmed, ongoing, and completed audits.
- Control the implementation of recommendations from audits and monitor corrective action plans.
- Analyze audit results, identify recurring risks, and contribute to SPCR periodic reports.
- Manage the secretariat of the Monitoring Committee (preparation, organization, drafting of minutes, follow-up of decisions, and archiving).
- Contribute to periodic contract review operations by analyzing legal compliance and proposing necessary adjustments.
- Manage and coordinate external audits in conjunction with service providers and internal SPCR entities.

Required education and skills:
- State diploma of Bac +5 (Master's degree) in private law, preferably in business law.
- Professional experience of 1 to 5 years;
- Have held a position as a legal officer within a private company or public institution;
- Good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the water/electricity and sanitation distribution sector;
- Perfect knowledge of labor law, company law, administrative law, and property law
- Proficiency in standard office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
