Leather Goods Technician – Quality Control & Product Development | Marrakech (Morocco)

As a Leather Goods Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting regular visits to suppliers to check the quality and conformity of products
• Verifying finishes, quantities, and quality standards upon receipt
• Ensuring stock follow-up (incomings, outgoings, inventory)
• Monitoring and communicating raw material quantities
• Organizing and optimizing material management with suppliers
• Sorting and structuring leather scraps (type, color, size)
• Identifying and reporting any non-compliance or anomaly
• Ensuring follow-up and organization of samples (internal and external)
• Managing samples with their technical sheets, molds, and patterns
• Creating technical drawings and product sheets
• Participating in product development and improvement in collaboration with the artistic direction

Profile sought:

• Training in leather goods, textiles, product design, or equivalent 
• Experience in leather goods (workshop, production, or quality control) strongly appreciated
• Excellent rigor and attention to detail
• Good organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Skills in technical and/or creative drawing
• Proficiency in basic computer tools (Illustrator or equivalent is a plus)
• Field experience and ease in interacting with suppliers
