Job :

Within the engineering team, you will work on the study and design of IP and WDM optical transport architectures, from access networks to the core network.



Your main tasks will be:



  • Perform detailed IP engineering studies on access and core networks.
  • Design and document IP/MPLS and WDM network architectures.
  • Write the engineering documents necessary for the deployment and configuration of equipment.
  • Participate in the definition of technical needs and architecture studies.
  • Provide technical support to deployment teams.
  • Monitor project progress and provide technical reporting.
  • Contribute to the engineering of optical infrastructures supporting core networks and interconnections.


Required profile :

Education



  • Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Networks, or Computer Science

Technical skills



IP Networks:



  • Protocols: BGP, IS-IS, IPv4/IPv6
  • LAN / WAN / IP/MPLS Networks
  • Operator VPN L2VPN / L3VPN
  • Multicast, QoS, IPSEC
  • Good knowledge of Cisco, Huawei, Nokia, or Ericsson equipment

Optical Transport:



  • WDM / DWDM Technologies
  • Optical network architectures
  • Vendor solutions such as Nokia or Ciena
  • Studies and dimensioning of optical loops

Soft skills



  • Good synthesis skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Autonomy and rigor
  • Good written and oral communication skills in French

Additional advantages



  • Knowledge of the telecom operator environment
  • Experience with access, core, and interconnection architectures
