Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, your mission will be to independently conduct audit assignments to evaluate the compliance of SOREC's procedures and organization, thus contributing to the effectiveness of the internal control system in accordance with the approved audit plan.
As such, your main activities will be:
Audit Execution
- Carry out audit assignments planned in the schedule, as well as unplanned specific investigations, in order to assess the effectiveness of the internal control system, procedures, and organization.
Risk Assessment
- Participate in updating the risk map, by identifying significant risks inherent in activities, procedures, and organization.
- Rigorously monitor the risk management system to mitigate identified risks.
Control and Evaluation of the Internal Control System
- Ensure the implementation and actively monitor the internal control system to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements when necessary.
Reporting and Follow-up of Recommendations
- Write comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Follow up on recommendations issued in previous audits, ensuring their effective implementation.
- Provide regular and accurate reporting to management, providing relevant information and proposing corrective measures.
As a potential candidate:
- You have a 4/5 year degree in audit or equivalent with 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- You have a good foundation in internal audit, risk management, and finance, and you are familiar with budgetary and accounting rules;
- You have analytical and synthesis skills and a critical mind;
- You have good interpersonal skills;
- You are discreet and committed;
