We are seeking a skilled and dedicated House Cook to join a private residence in the beautiful town of Sidi Harazem, Morocco. As the House Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, nutritious meals for the household while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

• Plan and prepare daily meals for the household, accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions
• Develop weekly menu plans and manage grocery shopping
• Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Collaborate with household staff to coordinate meal times and special events
• Manage kitchen inventory and budget
• Adapt recipes to incorporate local, seasonal ingredients
• Prepare traditional Moroccan dishes as well as international cuisine

• Proven experience as a house cook or in a similar culinary role
• Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Proficiency in menu planning and nutritional balance
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Culinary degree or certification preferred
• Current food safety certification required
• Knowledge of Moroccan cuisine is a plus
• Familiarity with local ingredients and food markets in Sidi Harazem, Morocco
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality food preparation
• Ability to adapt to household preferences and dietary needs
• Professional demeanor and good communication skills
