Job :

We are looking for dynamic, competent, and highly professional Handlers - Shelf Stockers (M/F) to join the Pharmacy Department at UIR Hospital. They will be responsible for carrying out transport, distribution, collection, storage, and logistical support operations for medications, medical devices, sterile medical devices, and other health products between the pharmacy, sterilization unit, and the various departments of the establishment. They will ensure compliance with distribution channels, hygiene and safety rules, traceability of movements, and the good condition of transport equipment and storage areas.



Your main tasks will focus on the following areas:



  • Ensure the daily and regular transport of medications, medical devices, and other products from the pharmacy to the user departments, in compliance with deadlines, logistical organization, and distribution instructions.
  • Transport sterile medical devices from the sterilization unit to operating rooms, care units, and other relevant departments, ensuring the maintenance of required safety and cleanliness conditions.
  • Collect soiled medical devices from departments and transport them to the sterilization unit, strictly adhering to hygiene protocols, safety measures, and internal procedures applicable to contaminated circuits.
  • Ensure, when required, the traceability of deliveries, returns, product movements, and logistical flows between different sectors.
  • Actively participate in inventory counts of products, consumables, and materials in the pharmacy and sterilization departments, and contribute to stock accuracy.
  • Contribute to the organization, restocking, and arrangement of storage areas within the pharmacy and sterilization unit, ensuring accessibility, order, cleanliness, and proper storage of products.
  • Report any anomalies immediately, especially missing, damaged, incorrectly identified, or non-compliant products, or any deviations observed during transport, reception, or storage operations.
  • Regularly clean and disinfect transport carts and any equipment used for moving products, in accordance with current cleaning protocols.
  • Report any failures, malfunctions, or maintenance needs concerning transport equipment, logistical equipment, or handling equipment provided.
  • Ensure fluid, professional, and courteous communication with staff from different departments to guarantee the quality of the logistics flow and good coordination of activities.
  • Transmit relevant information to the pharmacy and sterilization teams regarding specific departmental requests, difficulties encountered, anomalies noted, or any events that may impact the continuity of operations.


Required profile :
  • At least 2 years of experience in handling, shelving, hospital logistics, or internal transport activities.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy, sterilization, warehousing, or in an environment subject to hygiene and safety requirements is a significant asset.
  • Knowledge of hospital circuits, cleanliness rules, disinfection, and flow management is desirable.
  • Good command of handling rules, internal transport, storage, and circulation of pharmaceutical products within a healthcare facility.
  • Rigor, organization, and punctuality.
