About the Role


We are looking for a proactive and experienced Foreman to lead on-site installation activities. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong customer relationships and driving continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities


  • Take full accountability for safety, quality, and productivity during installation and handovers.
  • Ensure compliance with KONE installation methods, tools, and safety standards, including conducting risk assessments where required.
  • Plan, organize, and manage installation activities, including logistics, materials, and site resources.
  • Monitor installation progress, costs, schedules, and risks in line with project plans (S-plan milestones).
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and quality checks, resolving non-conformities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead final testing, ensure closure of defects, and support successful handover to maintenance teams.
  • Manage installation documentation, reporting, time approvals, and environmental compliance.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for customers, ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Deliver a high-quality installation experience that ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and support installation teams, including KONE employees and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all personnel are trained, certified, and competent.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, team engagement, and well-being.
  • Manage performance, identify training needs, and support team development.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors to ensure delivery commitments.
  • Support project teams in cost control, variation management, and change orders.
  • Assist in verifying payment milestones and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Drive LEAN practices and continuous improvement initiatives on-site.
  • Identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve workflows.
  • Coach and support teams in adopting best practices.

Requirements


  • Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Mandatory experience in the Elevator & Escalator industry.
  • PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in project management, including subcontractor management.
  • Strong understanding of project scope, schedule, and budget control.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and project management systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with a focus on team motivation and development.
  • Well-organized, self-driven, and customer-focused.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Passion for mechanical and electrical systems with a proven track record.
