Job Summary:




Ensure effective management of merchandising execution, customer relationships, and product management at the store level, including achieving KPIs in a given territory.



Additionally, ensure effective staff management to achieve maximum product availability at all times and at the lowest cost.

Main Responsibilities and Expected Results:




Operational Management:




  • Communicate and ensure the team understands store performance indicators.
  • Oversee the execution and achievement of agreed-upon KPIs for the store.
  • Coordinate with store managers to resolve store challenges related to store KPIs.
  • Ensure the execution of the 6Ps at the store level.
  • Follow stipulated stock management guidelines.
  • Supervise the management of shelf health, i.e., stock replenishment, facing, planogram integrity.
  • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of planograms at the store level.
  • Ensure effective implementation of promotional activities.
  • Oversee the execution of in-store activations and permanent promoters according to agreed plans.
  • Provide feedback on all customer/product-related points in the field.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate merchandising objectives to ensure they are met.
  • Ensure merchandising excellence through Smollan's best working methods.
  • Conduct client-specific audits in stores.
  • Continuously compare and optimize merchandising execution processes against best practices.
  • Provide regular feedback to the line manager.


Account Management:




  • Work in partnership with distributors, account managers, and other partners to achieve and exceed merchandising objectives.
  • Respond to and follow up on all client inquiries and issues.
  • Stay informed about the market and competitors.
  • Adhere to client and company performance standards.
  • Escalate any unresolved issues to the relevant line manager.
  • Organize quarterly business review sessions with the client to identify growth opportunities.


Operational Excellence:




  • Submit daily and weekly reports regarding Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to line managers/clients.
  • Maintain excellent relationships/contacts with various stakeholders.
  • Document and manage expenses.
  • Ensure the management of Smollan assets, including HHT devices.
  • Ensure compliance with the rules established between your team and the distributor.
  • Implement and maintain merchandising operational excellence, policies, and procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Develop detailed route plans, including designing your team's call cycles / PJP and timely communication of changes to call cycles / PJP.
  • Develop and maintain a relevant database of your team's clients.
  • Ensure that accurate information is recorded and subject to quality control, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Stay updated on new developments in the industry and communicate them to your team and supervisor.
  • Agree on expected outcomes, scope, and deadlines with line managers.


Required profile :

Experience: 2 to 3 years or more of experience in the FMCG sector as a Sales Representative
