Fiber Optic Architect | Rabat (Morocco)

As part of the development and expansion of FTTH / FTTA networks, we are looking for a Fiber Optic Architect to work on strategic projects for the design and evolution of telecom infrastructures.

Your missions

As a Fiber Optic Architect, you will be involved in the entire engineering cycle:

Studies & design:

• Take charge of fiber connection programs in their entirety
• Carry out connection studies (fixed sites, radio sites, B2B…)
• Analyze existing solutions and propose optimized architectures
• Design Preliminary General Designs (APS) and architecture diagrams

Sizing & costing:

• Size infrastructures (cables, distribution frames, FO equipment)
• Estimate costs (CAPEX) and propose optimized solutions
• Prepare technical files and associated deliverables

Management & coordination:

• Ensure project follow-up until deployment
• Collaborate with engineering, deployment teams, and partners
• Participate in technical meetings and provide reporting

Documentation & continuous improvement:

• Write architecture documents and technical deliverables
• Be proactive in proposing network architecture evolutions

Education & experience

• Telecommunications engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience in fiber optic engineering (FTTH / FTTx / FTTA)
• Experience in network design and connection studies

Technical skills

• Mastery of fiber optics and FTTH architectures
• Experience in fiber design (APS, sizing, diagrams)
• Good knowledge of:
• NRO / PM / PBO
• Civil engineering and FO cabling
• Proficiency in GIS tools: QGIS, ArcGIS, Netgeo…
• Knowledge of telecom operator environments
