Mission/Project Context:



The main objective of the mission is to carry out the following activities:



1. Setting up and deploying adapted application versions and tools for the managed service factory foundation on the Orange cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
2. Code development and quality for existing and future Service Operators.
3. Continuous improvement and operational maintenance of existing platforms and deployment tools



DELIVERABLES AND REQUIRED SKILLS:



The expected deliverables are as follows:



1. Recurring tasks (RUN), participate in 'recurring' rotations within the project



• Be available and reachable during rotation (9 am - 12:30 pm or 2 pm - 5:30 pm - France time)
• Participate in synchronization meetings with on-call support at 9 am and 5 pm - France time
• Resolve, update the status, or escalate tickets from the queue within the domain
• Process or escalate requests from the group queue to the Product Owner or manager
• Resolve/escalate issues reported by on-call supervision
• Ensure communication between domain stakeholders and supervision
• Participate in the continuous improvement of RUN



2. Ensure operational maintenance (RUN)



The operational maintenance of service platforms includes:



• Incident management (Level 2 and 3)
• Event management
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of operability and service quality
• Documentation maintenance
• Execution of scheduled changes in production



3. Design and implementation of container-based hosting infrastructures (BUILD)
The integration of new business services or the implementation of new infrastructure services may require the construction of new infrastructures.



4. Carry out technical studies (THINK)
The hosting activity is constantly evolving, so the mission includes a study component that will involve carrying out or contributing to technical studies aligned with the strategy.



5. Development and integration engineering of tools (BUILD)
• Ensure the integration of tools chosen by experts and architects
• Develop specific functionalities required for the service ecosystem
• Validate their functionality in the target environment
• Ensure the operability of the solutions



6. Automate builds and deployments (BUILD)



The mission's objective is to create "infrastructure as code" and thus validate hosting solutions in the same way as the code they will support.
The mission will require, in particular:
• Skill development on tools like Git / Gitlab / gitlab CI /
• Participation in tool validation tests
• Participation in the development of deployment products and services

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Object-oriented development, quality assurance, and impact management (testing, non-regression, etc.) mainly in GoLang
System administration - good knowledge of Linux administration
K8S / Ecosystem:
Mastery of the Go language and code quality principles
Release Management: Plan and coordinate software releases.
Security: Integrate Security By Design practices into the development cycle.
Operational mastery of deployment/integration and operations tooling: gitlab, gitops (flux and co), prometheus/grafana/loki, fluxCD or argoCD
Be comfortable with Git & branch management
Be comfortable understanding & debugging scripts (bash, python or other)



DESIRABLE SKILLS:
GO language and Bash Linux
Kubernetes
Agility: Scrum / Kanban
Knowledge of Cloud concepts and architecture (Clusters, Zones, Flows, Services, Brokers)
Knowledge of data and bus products (mysql/mariadb cluster, redis, rabbitmq, mongodb, kafka)

We are looking for a passionate DevOps environment development engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the study, development, and deployment of managed service operators for the private cloud on Kubernetes, as well as the management of our cloud infrastructures.
