Job :
  • Role of the SI Architect in cross-functional projects
  • For cross-functional Information System (SI) projects, the SI architect contributes to the business scope definition, led by Business Analysis (MOA), in order to define the scope and functional requirements to be studied.

They are responsible for the architecture study, i.e., translating business and IT requirements (KPIs, migration, etc.) into impacts on the SI's functional systems, while respecting:



  • the SI access security requirements, the RGPD regulations, and the functional architecture style in effect within the company.
  • They carry out this study using Bouygues Telecom's architecture repository (business model, processes, use cases, functional architecture), with a product vision approach for the SI.
  • They rally and build the functional architecture solution with business stakeholders, IT and network departments.
  • They develop the application architecture for each of the affected functional systems, in collaboration with the Development teams (MOE).

In developing the solution, they take into account:



  • Time and budget constraints, security requirements, as well as technical debt.

They are responsible for managing the architecture study:



  • Workshop organization, report writing and distribution, alert monitoring, etc.

They are also responsible for producing the architecture file, which includes:



  • the list of impacts on functional systems (interfaces, business rules, KPIs, migration plan, security, etc.),
  • the list of impacts on applications (same elements).
  • They act as a cross-functional functional referent for the functional architecture throughout the realization phase, until the end of the VSR.
  • They validate the deliverables produced by the functional systems (SF) and technical systems (ST).
  • They contribute to the test and commissioning strategy, and process the solution evolution sheets in response to changes in scope or identified functional gaps.
  • Finally, they provide support to the Development teams (MOE) and testing teams.


Required profile :
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience in project management and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and functional documentation management.

Technical Skills:



  • Functional architecture (Level 5)
  • Expertise in designing and modeling functional architectures for cross-functional SI projects. Ability to build a target vision aligned with business, IT, and security requirements.
  • Telecom operator information system (Level 2)
  • Good understanding of SI environments specific to the telecom sector. Ability to grasp the challenges and constraints of operator architectures.
  • Writing functional specifications and requirements (Level 5)
  • Mastery of formalizing business needs and translating them into functional specifications. Ability to produce clear and structured deliverables.
  • Process analysis (Level 4)
  • Proven skills in business process analysis. Identifying functional impacts and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Process modeling and activity diagrams (Level 3)
  • Practice of modeling using BPMN and UML to represent processes and interactions between functional systems.
  • REST API (Level 2)
  • Good understanding of how REST APIs work and their role in modern SI architectures. Ability to analyze the impacts of integrating APIs into functional systems.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to lead workshops and communicate with stakeholders.
