UM6P Corelabs is recruiting a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team within the Optical microscopy platform in Bioscience Corelab. UM6P Corelabs will serve as a platform to support technical and scientific research within UM6P and as a service provider to external customers.
The CoreLab technician will be responsible for performing laboratory tasks, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily activities to support both internal UM6P researchers and faculty as well as external clients.

Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, histology, plant sciences, biotechnology, or a related field, ideally with 2 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:Good command of histology, anatomy, pathology (plant and/or animal), immunohistochemistry, and various staining techniques.
Practical experience in laboratory sample preparation, ideally in histology or biosciences.
Good knowledge of laboratory instruments such as microtomes, cryostats, staining systems, etc.
Ability to follow strict protocols and perform rigorous and precise work.
Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and standards.
Excellent organizational skills(time and priority management).
Excellent communication skills, in French and English.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
