Role Overview We’re looking for a Backend Developer to join the growing engineering team.
You’ll help design, develop, and optimize the server-side logic and APIs powering next-generation inspection software that integrates 3D modeling, video processing, and AI-based defect detection.
You’ll collaborate closely with frontend, data, and robotics engineers to ensure smooth system integration, scalability, and reliability.
Locations: The role is 100% remote, but the candidate location that is preferred is Egypt or Morocco.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend logic and databases for web applications Design and integrate scalable APIs for data ingestion and processing Contribute to CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines (AWS ECS, Lambda, S3) Write clean, testable, and well-documented code Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and product decisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, cloud, robotics, AI) Interview process: The interview process includes three stages: an HR interview, a technical interview, and a final meeting with the Head of Practice.
Strong knowledge of ASP.
NET Core , Entity Framework Core , and C#/.
NET (7+ years of experience) Experience with Python for backend or data-oriented tasks Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3) Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines , Docker, GitHub, and automation workflows Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio Code and Docker Strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative attitude Fluent in English Nice to Have: Experience in video processing, 3D modeling, geospatial data, or photogrammetry Experience with ABP or microservices templates Exposure to machine learning libraries or data pipelines
