Job :

We are looking for experienced and rigorous Anesthetist Nurses to join our Department of Care and Hospital Hygiene at HUIR. He/She will be responsible, in collaboration with and under the responsibility of the anesthetist doctor, for participating in the anesthetic care of patients in the operating room during surgical procedures.
Your main tasks will be:



Pharmacology:
- Mastery of drugs used in anesthesia-resuscitation (anesthetics, muscle relaxants, vasoconstrictors, etc.), dose calculation, monitoring of side effects.



Pain Management:



  • Implementation and monitoring of pain treatments, adaptation of protocols according to patient response.

Emergency Procedures:



  • Mastery of advanced resuscitation techniques,
  • Management of emergencies related to anesthesia (hypotension, bradycardia, etc.).

Non-verbal Communication:



  • Detection of signs of distress or anxiety in the patient.
  • Stress management
  • Self-control in crisis situations, ability to reassure the patient and their family.
  • Multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Close collaboration with anesthetist doctors, surgeons, operating room nurses, etc.

Care Management:



  • Planning and organization of care activities in the room
  • Monitoring of protocols and procedures

Administrative Management:



  • Maintenance of medical records and traceability of actions performed
  • Management of medication stocks and expiry dates necessary for anesthesia procedures
  • Activity reporting

Time Management:



  • Optimization of work organization to ensure smooth interventions.

Quality and Safety:



  • Implementation of quality and safety procedures (patient safety checklist, room opening and closing checklist, prevention of nosocomial infections).
  • Risk Management: Identification and evaluation of risks related to anesthesia, implementation of preventive measures.

General Anesthesia:



  • Mastery of different general anesthesia techniques (inhalation, injection, intubation...).
  • Regional Anesthesia: Performance of nerve blocks, regional anesthesias.
  • Resuscitation: Management of critically ill patients, mechanical ventilation.

Required profile :
  • Bachelor's degree + 3 years in Anesthetist Nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Mastery of all anesthesia protocols
  • Anesthesia station management: securing with a checklist before and after each patient.
  • Computer literacy
  • Optimize the use of anesthesia equipment.
  • Conduct resuscitation in partnership with the responsible physician in the context of emergencies.
  • Participation in medical device vigilance, pharmacovigilance, anesthesiology vigilance, blood transfusion vigilance: regarding the implementation of protocols, detection and reporting of problems.
