Job description

The Charter Broker will serve as an integral member of the Moravia Yachting team to build on an extensive worldwide charter client base and provide excellent quality of service. The position is based in our Monaco office however will involve travel internationally.


Responsibilities


  • Generate personal charter sales as per targets set;
  • Focus on conversion of enquiries to actual business;
  • Develop/maintain a network of clients in order to grow charter business;
  • Maintain communication with central agents and develop relationships with them;
  • Prepare accurate and well-presented selection of available yachts to clients;
  • Provide advice on charter yachts and cruising itineraries;
  • Provide immediate/effective response to any issue arising during charters;
  • Provide excellent service to all charter clients;
  • Develop internal relationships with other HR business divisions to maximise business;
  • Cooperate with charter broker team members to help nurture a collaborative team-based working environment.

Person, skills, and knowledge Specification


·       Excellent knowledge of the charter fleet superyacht industry;


·       Fluent English language mandatory with French written and verbal skills advantageous;


·       Excellent written English skills;


·       Excellent organisational and time management skills;


·       Excellent sales and negotiation skills;


·       Excellent personal presentation and ability to present professionally to charter clients;


·       Experience in developing and maintaining a client portfolio 


·       In depth knowledge of the yacht charter process and contractual arrangements;


·       Knowledge of yachting industry standard business practices and ethics;


·       Knowledge of charter regulations including flag state and taxation areas;


·       Knowledge of operations on board;


·       Minimum of 5 years’ superyacht Retail Charter brokerage experience;


·       History of consistently booking high value superyacht charters year-on-year;


·       Multiple past charter bookings on 30m+ superyachts;


·       Significant experience within a multi-person retail charter team;


·       Experience managing charter fleet yachts;


·       Wide travel experience especially to cruising destinations.


·       Candidates with an existing portfolio of repeat client preferred.


·       Candidates that have booked over Euro 2 million in Retail Charter Deals annually preferred.
