Job description

The Restaurant Floor Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position requires a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational skills to manage the floor effectively. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, coordinate with staff, and ensure that guests receive top-notch service. With a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 5 years of experience in the food service industry, the Restaurant Floor Supervisor will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  2. Train and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  3. Monitor dining area for cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  4. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  5. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  6. Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  7. Prepare and maintain reports on restaurant performance metrics.
  8. Implement promotional activities to enhance customer engagement.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Participate in staff meetings to discuss operational improvements.
