Purpose:

This role is responsible for leading and overseeing maintenance operations while providing hands-on technical support to ensure all machinery, equipment, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. The role supervises the maintenance team, plans and executes preventive and corrective maintenance activities, optimizes resource utilization, and ensures the timely resolution of equipment breakdowns to support uninterrupted production and continuous improvement.

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Plan, implement, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Prioritize, assign, and monitor maintenance activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of equipment issues.
• Conduct equipment diagnostics, root cause analysis (RCA), and follow-up evaluations to improve maintenance performance and prevent recurring failures.
• Monitor equipment condition and performance, recommending improvements when needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide regular updates on maintenance activities, risks, and operational impacts.
• Manage maintenance resources, including budgets, spare parts inventory, tools, contractors, and service providers to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Collaborate with production and other departments while coaching and developing maintenance personnel to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.
