Functional Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Support Services Officer, the driver will be responsible for the following:
•Care and maintenance of the vehicles, such as cleanliness and refueling;
•Perform driving tasks for the UNMAS Syria authorized personnel;
•Comply with transport documentation, i.e., daily logs and daily vehicle checklists;
•Ensure vehicles have the appropriate documentation, i.e., accident forms;
•Carry out radio checks when required;
•Ensure vehicles have a full complement of safety and emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, etc;
•Conduct vehicle inspections for serviceability and arrange servicing requirements;
•Assistance with office tasks (photocopying, scanning, et.c. as directed).
•Perform any other relevant task assigned by the supervisor or senior management;
