SUMMARY ROLE
The Data Platform team is responsible for the planning, implementation, and operation of enterprise database platforms supporting business services. The team ensures high availability, performance, and resilience of database environments, while supporting day-to-day operations, governance, and continuous improvement, including the adoption of modern database technologies to meet evolving business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
Understanding of database administration concepts including backup, recovery, performance monitoring, and security
Exposure to enterprise database environments supporting business-critical applications
Ability to perform troubleshooting and performance tuning of database systems
Familiarity with database monitoring tools and health check practices
Knowledge of scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus
Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts
Exposure to modern database technologies (e.g., NoSQL, cloud databases) is an advantage
Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain operational procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work across multiple database technologies

• SQL (Structured Query Language) – querying, joins, subqueries, aggregations

• Data modeling – ER diagrams and relational modeling
