Responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimization of the core network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the high availability, reliability, and performance of the core network to meet service excellence standards. The Core Network Administrator works closely with technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve network issues, implement upgrades, and support new projects.
•Ensure high service availability and optimal performance of core network systems.
•Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
•Provide technical support for roaming operations and maintenance.
•Troubleshoot and resolve core network issues to maintain high KPIs and service standards.
•Work with vendors and technical teams to address hardware and software problems.
•Ensure compliance with SLAs and high levels of customer satisfaction.
•Supervise database dimensions and hardware expansions to resolve technical problems efficiently.
•Plan and implement database maintenance activities to ensure data integrity and availability.
•Manage processes for fault detection and correction to maximize system and service availability.
•Implement and improve fault management procedures to enhance network reliability.
•Document and report on fault management activities and outcomes.
•Identify and implement improvements to existing processes and procedures to enhance workflow and efficiency.
•Develop and document new processes for better network management and operation.
•Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into the organization.
•Coordinate with development teams and business units for requirements and changes related to new developments, integrations, or operations.
•Assist in the preparation of technical and maintenance processes for new projects, services, expansions, and ad-hoc requests.
•Facilitate communication and collaboration between different units and stakeholders.
•Ensure compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.
•Implement security and protection protocols to safeguard network infrastructure.
•Prepare reports on network performance, fault management, and process improvements.
•Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
•Knowledge of database management and IT/Data-warehouse systems.
•Familiarity with service level management and customer satisfaction principles.
•Industry certifications in core network technologies or vendor-specific certifications.
•Strong understanding of core network technologies and protocols.
•Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools.
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Educational Level
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering,ComputerScience,ora related field.
