Job description

The Steel Factory Manager in Kuwait plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of a steel manufacturing facility. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and managerial skills to ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team, optimizing production schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves strategic planning to meet market demands while maintaining high-quality standards and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily operations of the steel manufacturing plant, ensuring production targets are met.
  2. Manage and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and production staff to foster a productive work environment.
  3. Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  4. Develop and manage production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  6. Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
  7. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  8. Prepare and manage the budget for the factory operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  9. Maintain communication with senior management regarding production performance and any issues that arise.
  10. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in production processes and employee training.
