Job Title: Product Owner – Fraud Platform Location: Kuwait Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – Fraud Platform to lead the enhancement, optimisation, and strategic development of our fraud technology platform on a 12-month contract in Kuwait.
This role will be responsible for managing platform improvements, coordinating with technology vendors, and engaging key stakeholders to ensure the fraud platform effectively supports evolving business and risk requirements.
The successful candidate will act as the bridge between fraud operations, risk, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure the platform delivers maximum value, performance, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities Own and manage the product roadmap for the fraud platform, aligning enhancements with business priorities and fraud risk strategy.
Define, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners to deliver system upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with fraud operations, risk, compliance, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
Oversee testing, UAT, and implementation of platform enhancements and new features.
Monitor platform performance, stability, and scalability, ensuring optimal system functionality.
Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on roadmap progress, risks, and delivery timelines.
Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Support budgeting and vendor contract oversight where required.
Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within fraud technology, banking, fintech, or financial services.
Strong understanding of fraud detection platforms and payment/digital fraud processes.
Experience working with third-party vendors and managing technology partnerships.
Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle management.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience overseeing system implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Middle Eastern financial institutions is advantageous.
Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar are desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related discipline.
